Great quality swimmers, however sizing comes up small.

Sizes very small

I originally bought a size 12 for my 11 year old daughter (who is average size), these were so tight she could not pull them up. I then bought a 14 and 16 and the 14 is also too small. Based on the return policy I can't send them back as I am not swapping just returning. I now have 3 pairs of swimmers and only 1 fits. It would have been really helpful if the sizes could be compared to Spedo sizes.

Sorry your having such troubles with your daughter sizing, Its pretty safe to say that there isn't really a 'average size' for any age and unfortunately all swimwear brands vary across the board and it would also depend on how long your daughter has owned the other brand also as they would stretch over time making them much bigger than.
Online shopping is really hard and we wish we knew all our customers personally to help them with there sizes. We encourage all our customers to reach out and discuss there sizing if unsure we would have loved to have helped.
We could have absolutely worked something out for you if you had done so before reordering the second pairs and we do offer exchange which you could have taken advantage of most definitely if tags were still attached.
